Dan Trouten has been working in the media industry since 1981 when he started in broadcasting. His experience expanded into various forms of print, website and other visual media starting in 1986. He has extensive experience behind the camera, the microphone, and the printing press along with 20 years experience in prepress production. Printed product types he has been involved in the production of include: -Offset media such as magazines, books, brochures and flyers, -Roll label products ranging from computer printable media to technical labels for the automotive industry, product identification labels for products from power tools to lawn equipment; -Screen printing products in a variety of applications such as point of sale products such as menu board programs, decal products from small trucks to tractor trailers, original equipment manufacturing identification from exercise equipment to golf carts, control panels, along with window signage and back lit applications; -Signage including products such as sandblasted signs for building and grounds, hardwood signage for restaurants and building signage in a variety of forms. He has also made custom dry erase boards for the manufacturing industry (up to 4’ x 8’). He is married with 6 children and does advocacy work concerning the special educational needs of children, serves as project manager for The Brain Tumor Awareness Organization, is a school board member of a public charter school and serves at church in technical areas such as video production and duplication. He is a Master Gardener and enjoys a variety of hobbies. |
